Family law, a family lawyer The Guardian and Wards Act, of 1890 is a law in Pakistan that governs the appointment of guardians for minor children and the management of their property. The Guardian Act gives the court the power to appoint a guardian for a minor in certain circumstances, such as when the parents of the child are deceased or unable to properly care for the child. The Guardian Act also sets out the rights and responsibilities of guardians, including their duty to manage the child’s property in the child‘s best interests.
